New Fancy Pants

Ofcourse I really had to have the new fancy pants papers and I really really really want those words stamps! They are so great! Love them! They are quite expensive I thought but it's worth the money!
Here are 2 lo's I made yesterday and today. I especially love the second one called bunny love! The first one is a lift from one I saw on 2p

hi there!
How are you? Today was a weird day with a lot of contradictions in emtions but it was a good day. I even scrapped! I made a lo about sushi with stuff I got in an envelopswap on scrapfever, it's not my style but I love it anyway! I did ad half a flower and a rubons.

Some more stuff

from my list!!! I finished the first exam to get 1 of the 3 certificates I want to earn before I turn 29! Now it is just 2 weeks and 5 days (max) of waiting whether I passed or not! When I passed I will immediately apply for the second on which will be 6 to 7 weeks away from now! So excited!

I also started on a mini-album I wanted to do for a long time now with pics of my grandfather. We called him "opa Jojo". When we called him for coffee he always answered with "jojo, will be right there" so that's why we called him that. Anyway he passed away in 2002 and he was my favorite grandparent! He was so funny and still so young at heart, crazy, foolish, creative (oh boy was he!), cuddly. It was very hard for me when he got his stroke and was disabled in many ways. It was hard to watch him stuggle, being tired all the time and wanting nothing more than "to go to grandma". I was relieved when he passed away for countless reasons but him not suffering anymore was the biggest one of all. Strangely enough I still miss him sometimes and can be sad and that's why it's so hard to make this little album or tribute to my grandpa. This is how I want to remember him

Elsie Challenge

So Elsie challenged us to make a LO of, in my case, 28 things I want to do before I turn 29! That was a great thing to think about as I have lots of time to do so! So I started writing down what I want to do or achieve, but it's hard! This is what I came up with. The blue ones, are the ones I have been working on already the past week, the red one is finished!

* started a workout focused on my arms and belly
* I have been doing short meditations every afternoon and before I go to sleep

* I ordered 1 exam that I will do next week (!!!)
* I found a new penpall
* I ordered a book about photography and am studying the manual of our camera as well!

It really keeps me going and helps me to get better and get rid of my panic! So it is also therapeutic! So thank you Elsie for this challenge, it really helped me and gave a little push in the right direction! She is such an inspirational soul and can't wait to see what she made of her new book, but I have to be patient untill november arrghhh!!! ;-)

painting and thoughts

hello very good saturday to you!
Mine is ok although I had a very short night! My creativity and spirituality are floating like madness and I am enjoying it sooo much. People often say that when you do something relaxing with your full attention, things will happen in your mind, lightbulb-moments, ideas, answers, solutions to problems etc, well I share that opinion as I often have such experiences whilst I am drawing mandala's.

Elsie had a challenge on her blog about things to do before you reach your next year. In my case that is 28 things I wanna do before I turn 29. I made that list! Ellen Degeneres is often talking about her lifelist (working on it). I love that! Well I made my list and started right away! One of the things I wanted to do was make a painting! I have been painting but that was years and years ago (almost 10!!) and didn't have a lot of stuff, but every scrapper has dabbers and has at least 1 canvas so I decided to try to paint a Lilly that I love, and here it is. Now I added 1 thing to my lifelist...."take a course or workshop in painting" I totally couldn't remember anything of what I once knew about paintingtechniques! How bad is that? During the painting many things came in to my head, and most of them were great! I am sure I will make more in future, hopefully NEAR future.

Great sunday!!

Hiya!
I am having a great day today! First of all, my friend Nic came to visit us with all of their children and I loved it! I thought it would be so tiresome but it was great! The kids were such sweethearts and I am so glad we could spoil them rotten with presents and yummy food! (i made sushi and cupcakes) The kids could decorate cupcakes, scrap, use the nintendo, wanted to play with Igors dumbells and weights, enjoyed the pond, birds, fish and everything!
They had to leave early as Marc has to work this night so he had to get some sleep before that.Pics say more then words so look what they got us! I am so happy with that!




We also keep a friendsscrapbook and she made me these! One is from her visit to a zoo in germany and the other one is a pic of Igor and me when we visited Nic last month



This is a pic of Nic and me, unfortuntely the only "good" one as the others aren't fit to show or moved!


Right after Nic and her family left, Igors sis and DH came in and brought me this!!!!

Proud to introduce to you... Mr. C. Bojangles!! He is a Castor-rex rabbit and he is soooo soft and cute! And fast too as I tried to pick him up, I almost had to chase him around! He's adorable and I am glad we got him! He is now a playmate for our other bunny Einstein, only this one will me much much bigger!

Now I am still not tired but just a bit lazy as it is so hot outside! I still have got energy left so I will scrap some more on my holidayjournal, which probably will me my entry to the scrapfever contest as well.

Scrapkit results

Today I received (as many others as well) the scrapkit from a scrapstore and it was exactly my kind of coockie!!! It's a whole range of Daisy D's Snapshots stuff and a canvas! I love it!
I immediately had an idea of what to make with it and started straight away! And here are the results!

This morning....

is all about household. Yaiks not my favorite thing but well it needs to be done every now and then. I did some groceryshopping, made some indonesian food already for tonight and washed the windows, now I am going to try to clean out my scraproom!!! Well it is already tidied up (for as long as it takes) and I will actually go and do the cleaning now, but I will leave you with something I made last night....

Another spread, this time about an ordinary day in my life. I am so in love with this paper, I really didn't expect me loving this BG infuse! I wanted to try a new scrapstyle, vintage and romantic and it worked out well I think. I am almost through this great paper now.

Vintage/Romantic BOM

Hi there!
Yesterdayevening and this morning I finished 3 vintage kinda lo's. I lifted a lo from Hilde as I think she makes great lo's in vintage kinda style with lace and all and I love those but I thought it was rather difficult to make one so I decided to lift one. I loved it so much I wanted to make a spread so I pasted the papers in opposite directions but glued the lace at the wrong end on the second lo :-( Well I love them anyway! I loved it so much that today I wanted to make one all on my own so no examples and I am sooooo happy with it! (It's the third pic.)
The first 2 are about romantic memories I have from our dating period, I love them so much I really had to scrap them. One of them is that we ate strawberries for breakfast at 6.30 am in the backyard in bikini/shorts as the weather was so terrific! I was house-sitting at that time and we enjoyed that period so much! The other memories are on tags behind the pic of roses.


This third lo is about our wish to get married but due to circomstances we can't just yet and I sometimes wonder if we ever will...


I am already working on a new lo again for my BOM and I love working on it and really enjoy it as well! Scrapping works theraputic, it really does! Relaxing, exciting and all different emotions mixed together!

Envelopeswap and bom

I entered an envelopeswap on a messageboard that Annemiek started and we got some cute and great stuff to work with that we all HAD to use on 1 lo. A real challenge to me but enjoyed it all the way! So Annemiek, here's my entry!

I also finished another lo for my BOM, it's about Angels, in person or in spirit and how I believe in them. I used a photo of a Guardian Angels Pin I got from Nic (another angel) and behind the photo is a little booklet that tells my story.


Last but not least, we bought new flowerpots and all the same! Igor surprised me (again!!!) by buying some more pots and beautiful orchids in them, lookie at this:

Today was a great day! I got up at 7 am! Did some laundry, sandpapered some furniture, cleaned out the entire kitchen, bought more paint, painted furniture, took care of the animals and cleaned out the birdhouse, rabbithouse, catbins, and worked the garden some more!! Now I am tired and haven't done much for the last one and a half hours! Still planning to scrap some! So off again trying

Emotionally loaded

hello this beautiful day!
No the weather sucks but still it's a beautiful day! Why? Well I made some pretty and emotional and spiritually loaded lo's for my BOM. I really wanted to go a bit deeper than just what my favorite color of food is and so I did. I had a little help from a document I found on internet and just started writing and writing. And started scrapping. Most journaling is hidden as it is so personal but I can tell you a little about it though.

This first one is about our first kiss, what I thought, what I felt, and much more as it wasn't just a kiss but a beginning of a whole new time for me.


This one is about what I learned from you, like stand up for myself and watch my boundries, I am alllowed to say NO and many more things, it's all hidden behind the tag which you can open up like a little book.


And last but surely not least is what you mean to me. This might not be the most beautiful lo I ever made, but the feeling is sooooo true en deep and sincere and pure that in a way it IS the most beautiful one.


I really love this little travel through my feelings! I ofcourse will make some lo's that are about my favorites and all but those are the more obvious subjects that you might tell anyone if you know what I mean. So I am scrapping my butt off again and loving it!!
Oh and yesterday I went on a little shoppingspree again! I really have to practise to feel at ease even outside my own home and outside my "safe radius" and it's really really hard but I am getting there. Yesterday I had a great day and made great progress and hope to keep it up! Today I had "a day off" as the weather is crap, but tomorrow it will be dry all day (they say) so I will try again to go somewhere! Will keep you posted.
