Valentinesday

First of all I want to wish everyone a very happy Valentinesday! A very lovely day to think extra about your lovedones, well that's my opinion! For the last 3 year I have been doing a lot for Valentinesday and Igor hasn't because we couldn't afford it or for whatever reason. He always felt a bit guilty about that. So this year I didn't do much about it because I didn't want him to feel awkward about anything. I really didn't expect him to even remember this Loving day! Well...... HE DID!!!!! This morning I found a lovely note on our table which I think was sooooo sweet! And then he came home with this:

Ok the picture isn''t all that good but it's dark already so tomorrow I will make new ones. I feel another LO comming up!

I just love multicolored roses! So he did a great job! It was so heavy, it must be 50 or more roses! So sweet! I was really emotional about it! Can you imagine?

book is finished

hi girls,
My mini album about my cat Browny is finished. It has been a struggle at times and very emotional as well but I finished it and I am very pleased with most of the pages.
It would mean the world to me if you would take the time to walk through all of the pages here . I hope you like them as much as I do.

Some of the layouts are scraplifts from other layouts, some of them are my interpretation of some of Elsie's sketches and some are original (the ones I like least!)
My next project? Well I bought this cute little album in a box for cats of 16x21 cm. I will start making catlo's for that one now. I ordered some new paper from Creamotion and Basic Grey today and hope it will soon be delivered oh and a whole lot of Bazzill (especially bling bling!) and cute little alphabetic stamps. Really looking forward to that!

new look

hi all,
had a nice weekend? I had a very quiet weekend with no obligations what so ever!
I scrapped a lot but also had a great time cleaning the house big time! It all smells so great now!

Today I wanted to try a new look on my blog, but it took me so much time! It's not what I had in mind but now at least I know how everything works! I choose an old Basic Grey paper as my button filler and I will make ones when the new lines are in!
I loved doing it though! So probably very soon my blog will change again!

I almost finished my mini album (see previous post) and it was a lot of work, as well as emotional, but it was a good thing! I love how it turned out. I will make some pics tomorrow as it is too dark now. I wish you all a very good night!

New books

hi there! How are you?
I am full of inspiration and I am anxiously waiting for the new papers to arrive! So I can actually turn my ideas in an actual paper version! For Elsie's line I have to be patient the most as it will be shipped half of April so it should be in stores at the end of april.
Now I am working on a kind of emotional album. I've been through a rough peroid and I had to get my 3 loving cats in a new home as I had to go and live with my parents again (this was a few years ago)and I felt heartbroken.Then when I finally got a place to live again for my own (well together with my big love) I really wanted to have a cat of my own again. Igor had 2 pretty and sweet cats but I really wanted "my own" so when we met Browny for the first time it was love at first sight and I knew he was ment to be with us. After a few weeks we could finally pick him up and bring him home. I loved him to pieces but unfortunately he got very very ill and died within 24 hours. I was devistated and still feel sad whenever I see his pictures (which is in a very nice frame in our livingroom) but now I decided it was time to give it a good place in my heart and mind and decided to dedicate a book about him. I made this great piano hinge album and printed pictures. Here is a sneak peak, just finished the book there

new lo's

Hi everyone,
it's weekend and I feel great! Finally had a very good night sleep and I feel reborn! Ok that's a bit much but you'll get what I mean right?
The last few days I have been scrapping again and made some very fun lo's, well at least I had fun making them. They are a bit revealing to me. I have been making some lo's that were soulsearching to me but I liked doing it and will continue doing it as well! What do you think of these lo's?

Have you all seen the new *Love Elsie* line? It is soooo great! I love it and really have to have it all! Luckily the lines will be available in stores in April, and that's exactly when my birthday is!!! I have been saving up some money already so I was a bit prepared but I didn't expect so many fun stuff!
I also watched at other brands ofcourse and there is some good stuff out there! Actually way too much! I really want the new clear stamps of Maya Road, Fancy Pants papers, Basic Grey, too much to mention.

I also have been working on a cute project I can't say much about just yet but soon I will!! It is just so sweet!
I've been doing some scrapping with old pictures and papers as I wanted to clean up my scraproom and it worked out quite well actually. I did a lot of 8x8 lo's lately and still have some stuff to do.

I also scanned a lot of photo's that I want to have printed and have 2 other great ideas for mini albums!!! Can't wait to share it!

Busy with some fun new stuff!!!

Hey girls,
How's life? I have been busy the last few days with all kinds of fun stuff! Ofcourse checking Elsie's Blog every day as I can't wait to see her new line with KI memories. I guess I will have to be patient just a few more days (untill saturday I think and really hope!!!). She also asked everyone about cool new music and I have been looking up those names in iTunes from Apple that goes with the iPod! Sooooo cool!!! I downloaded an album of Stephen Speaks and it is incredibly great! Listening to it right now. I discovered a whole lot more fantastic music, some strange, some way toooo loud for me but I am enjoying it a lot. Never thought I would enjoy it that much!
I also have been writing a lot again, true soulsearching and it's hard and confronting but it's worth every dime of it! I have discovered soooo much! It's nice to get to know me!

And ofcourse I have been doing some scrapbooking. Just a few 8x8" lo's. I am so looking forward to all the great new paperlines that are soon to be here (i hope!). I have all kinds of plans with them already!
Oh and last but not least I have been looking at really old pictures of my family and decided to make a little booklet about my grandpa, he's so funny! And some other projects I am working on and hope I can show them soon.

Yesterday I finished 2 other lo's and here they are. I love the simplicity of the "candlelight"lo. I love the pic and can't believe I made it! (12x12"lo)

It's back!

Yesterday I made 4 lo's and today I made another one! I have got a lot of photo's that needed to be processed so I made a stack and started on top with the cat pics. The first 4 I did in 8x8" and the fifth one is in 12x12" size. I also want to use all of the catpaper I have and probably won't buy any new one (unless they are way too cute ofcourse!). Still can't finish the christmasjournal but that's ok, I have been working on it way too long in just a couple of days so I will leave it for now and maybe later on I will finish it.
My financial situation isn't all that at the moment, I am not sure if I will get payed by my boss end of February, long story actually so I will leave it at this. What I was trying to say is that I probably won't be able to buy any scrapbooksupplies in a long while, too bad so I will have to do with what I have!

Back again!

Goodmorning!!!
I am back after 3 days, no I haven't been anywhere but my computer has! It needed to be fixed, or at least 2 programms needed to be fixed so yesterday evening my computer came in again!
What have I been up to? Making my christmasjournal! I was and still am inspired by Julie Ann to make one. She made a digital one but I loved it so much I desided to make one of my own, not digital though. Here are a few pics of the first pages. The rest isn't finished yet, or not on a pic yet but I will share the rest pretty soon I promise! Julie Ann thanks for making such wonderful layouts and inspire me (us) to make one of my own!

Happy New Year to All

First of all: happy new year to you all; I hope you will all have a healthy, creative, loving and inspiring 2007! We didn't do much, watched some tv and only won € 10,00 in the state lotery, but hé we at least won something! I didn't set a lot of goals for this year, just some spiritual stuff oh and I made a list of things I really want to buy this year!

Today I started off buying myself a secondhand scooter, a Kymcom DJ, bright orange but as usual I never leave things the way they are, always want to change it to my likings so same story here. I just can't choose between a few option. For instance I wanted to paint it iceblue with bright silver shiny stars, ór purple in different shades starting in a dark shade and upwards it gets lighter, or purple, just one shade and make some baroque or doodles on it. Just don't know yet.

Here's a lo I made for the contest and I didn't win so I can show it now. Or actually SNOW it now! The theme was "winterwonderland"
